With our update service, we guarantee that the most important data from your store will be transferred from one version to another without major issues, maintaining its integrity and functionality. We work by creating a parallel store in the new PrestaShop version, allowing you to continue operating without interruptions while we perform the update. Once the parallel store is ready, we migrate the most recent data from the live store and make the final switch.

Aspects not included in the service:
This service focuses on data migration. Any module or theme incompatibility resulting from the update is outside the scope of this offer. It is essential to ensure that the modules and themes you use are compatible with the new version of PrestaShop. If you use PrestaShop’s standard modules and themes, you should not experience any issues. Before purchasing the service, please verify the compatibility of your modules with the new version.

Steps to complete the update:
Once the purchase is made, please provide the following information so we can begin:

• Host name, username, and password for your FTP server.
• Username and password to access the database management (phpMyAdmin).
• Link to your store’s BackOffice, along with an email and password for an admin-privileged account (you can create a temporary account that can be deleted after the update).
• Access to your domain and/or hosting management interface to create backups (e.g., Cpanel/Plesk Panel).
• Desired PrestaShop version (if not specified, we will use the latest available version).

Modules and themes:
Modules must be purchased by the client. If you have modules from our store, you won’t need to pay for them again when updating or reusing them. We will install or update the modules you were already using, as long as they are available and compatible with the new version.

Duration and costs:
Our service is based on 100 hours of work, equivalent to 3,500 EUR, which typically covers stores with standard configurations and without many customizations. If your store is larger or requires additional customizations, you may need to purchase additional hours to complete the project. The total time will depend on the scope of the update you require and your investment.
